Crow
By Hearts United for Animals in Auburn, NECrow is a puppy mill survivor. Despite living in horrific conditions his entire life, Crow is a super happy little guy with a tremendous love of life. He is just too cute as he zooms about the yards soaking up this awesome thing called freedom. He adores the humans and other little dogs alike.

Callie Rae
By Hearts United for Animals in Auburn, NECallie Rae had her heart broken by people who abandoned her at a city pound. It took many months of gentle affection and attention from her caregivers to convince her that she is worthy of love. She is still a little bit shy, but her careful climbs into the laps of humans she trusts are treasured

Evee
By Hearts United for Animals in Auburn, NEEvee came from an abusive situation and was once thrown from the bed of a moving truck. She also tested positive for heart worms so medication and rest were her only priorities when she first arrived at HUA. She is a wonderfully silly, quirky girl and a favorite among our volunteers.

Husker
By Hearts United for Animals in Auburn, NEHusker was brought to the HUA shelter by a family who did not have enough time to devote to him. What we can say about Husker is this -- he is amazing! He is super smart and a diehard people pleaser. He is happy all the time and deeply devoted to the humans who all adore him.

Daggett
By Lauren Harper in Montgomery, ALDaggett is a short hair pointer who has a personality bigger than he is. He loves everyone (his mom most) and has tons of energy. He hasn't figured out why we throw a ball passed him yet. We believe he may have been a goat in his previous life..he ate the siding off our house twice.

Dixie Rose Halcomb
By In memory of Dixie Rose Halcomb in Bardstown, KYDixie was rescued in 2014 & had previously lived a hard life. The last 4 years of her life were filled with endless snuggles, sloppy kisses, lots of adventures & plenty of treats! She brought so much joy & love into her momma’s life and is missed dearly. Dixie went to heaven 2/28/18

Frida
By Emily Comerford in San Diego, CAWe rescued Frida from the San Diego County Animal Shelter on September 24th 2015 when she was a little over a year old. We named her after Frida Kahlo the artist. She fits right in with our family like it was meant to be all along! Rescue pups are the best pets! ❤️
